What you share when you use the assistant

A chat message, a local file conversion and an alignment upload follow different paths. This page describes those boundaries and the controls available in the assistant.

This guide is in English. The assistant supports 83 interface languages.

Chat messages

Messages sent to the assistant are sent to the service and saved to help improve it. The current retention period is up to 180 days. Do not put material in a message that you do not intend to send. The operator is Micaiah Mackenzie; data questions and deletion requests can be sent to contactkoinei@gmail.com.

Files and browser work

Several conversion and media tools process file data in your browser. That does not mean every action on the site is local: the chat sends messages, and lyric alignment uses an upload service. Review the actual input step and the LyricTimestamps privacy notice when using that separate alignment workflow.

Speech input

The microphone uses your browser's speech recognition. Some browsers send audio to their own provider to turn it into text. MusicTimestamps receives the words only when you send the message; it does not receive microphone audio through this input.

Analytics and your controls

MusicTimestamps uses its own Google Analytics and Hotjar properties to understand usage. Analytics does not determine whether the tools work. Open the assistant menu, choose Privacy and use the available analytics consent or opt-out control. Your choice is stored on that device; browsers that block storage may limit persistence.

Questions about this workflow

Is everything I do kept on my device?

No. Browser processing is specific to an operation. Chat messages are sent to the service, and alignment involves uploading inputs.

How do I ask for deletion?

Email contactkoinei@gmail.com with enough information to identify the relevant conversation or account. Do not include passwords.

Where can I change analytics preferences?

Open the menu in the assistant and choose Privacy. The control reflects the consent or opt-out mode active for your visit.
