Take checked AI-song captions into your video workflow

An AI-generated song, a lyric draft and an editing timeline are separate inputs. The assistant helps you identify what is ready and what still needs work.

Try this in the assistant

This guide is in English. The assistant supports 83 interface languages.

Use the words in the actual recording

A generated performance may repeat a line, add a phrase or omit words from the original prompt. Verify the text by listening to the exported recording. A format converter cannot determine which version was sung.

Make the handoff at the right stage

If your song has no timed lyrics yet, use LyricTimestamps for alignment and manual review. Once those timings are checked, MusicTimestamps can guide conversion, offsets, editor exports and captioned-video preparation.

Match the media version in the edit

Trimming silence, adding an intro or changing speed after timing can break sync. Tell the assistant what changed and keep the source timing file. Verify the finished captions against the exact media file you will publish.

Questions about this workflow

Is MusicTimestamps affiliated with Suno?

No. This is an independent file-workflow guide, and it does not connect to or publish into a Suno account.

Will an AI song always match its lyric prompt?

Do not assume that. Check the actual words in the exported performance before timing or converting captions.

Can I burn the checked captions into a video?

The assistant has a caption burn-in workflow using media and an existing timing file. Available output depends on the file and browser capabilities.
